Anointing our homes and belongings with oil is an act of faith. It is a declaration of your trusting in the One who is our Almighty Protector, The Lord Jesus. It is powerful! Demons can see the oil in the spiritual realm and are aware that the home anointed by oil comes under the protection of God. Hallelujah! It is our faith when applying the oil that activates it in the spiritual realm. So when applying oil to anoint our homes or our belongings, we need to do so in faith.

Anointing our home with oil is a prophetic act and declaration of our trust in God to protect us.It's a sign for evil spirits to think twice before coming near. It is also a declaration that our home is consecrated to God (Exodus 40:9) it is now holy as He is holy. We need to ensure there is nothing in our home that is against God. Nothing that He would not like or be grieved by, nothing that would attract evil spirits but instead welcome Holy Spirit to come and stay and fill our home and atmosphere with the heavenly realm.

This means nothing of New Age, the occult, witchcraft, horoscopes, astrology, demonic statues, horror/witchcraft video games, demonic images, all demonic movies and books etc. All of these things need to be removed from the home of any person who has chosen to follow Jesus. Ask Holy Spirit to highlight anything in your home that displeases Father or anything that would attract evil spirits, the very things you don't want in your home! We want our homes to be a place that Holy Spirit wants to manifest the presence of God because it is holy, set apart for Him! Such a place is filled with peace and joy in Him!

WHAT DO YOU ANOINT

You can start by anointing the top of the door frames to your home, then all the tops of the window frames and the same for the back door. Next, annoint any belongings you feel may need it. You can anoint the gate to your property, your boundary fence, anything you want or feel to do.

No weapon formed of the enemy can prosper against you! Every assignment and plan of the enemy will fall, come to nothing! In Jesus name!
